In Thai culture, and the traditional tattoo designs called “Sak Yant”, the crocodile represents strength and power, due to its thick skin and is said to offer protection against swords, blades and anything that may pierce its skin.

With time its grows wisdom against manipulation and a great resilience from ill will.

Each fighter, over time, often goes to choose a traditional tattoo as a representative part of themselves and the sport. What animal is chosen for them or they choose themselves, reflects the personality of the fighter, both in the Martial Arts and in Life.

This artwork represents a dear fighter man who I know of these qualities, which is why he is depicted with the Crocodile Sak Yant.
