REPAIR DESPAIR jan 25’
40x50, Acrylic on CanvasWe experience many emotions throughout the year, thousands maybe even millions. Throughout each month, every week. But in a day? In a minute? Maybe hundreds, maybe even more.
In a second? I believe there can be more.
No emotion comes on its own, or stays the same. We as individuals constantly change, and how we perceive our live also does. So why wouldn't, how we experience our emotions.
“Repair Despair” is a contradictory, two-sided piece, that follows these rules. It’s a self portrait depicting a millisecond of emotion in more words that could be written in a book.
The contrasting colours only intensify what you see as a whole. A transcendence from cool to warm. A form of relief after intensity of one emotion or maybe both at the same time?
You decide.
